Is FrontPay legit? · verified October 2026
Three companies
One is us.
Most "is FrontPay legit" searches are really asking about three unrelated things: this site, a $100 cash advance at joinfrontpay.com, and a payments app in the App Store. This page separates them, shows how we make money, and gives you five ways to check any lender yourself.
Three FrontPays.
Side by side, so the next search result makes sense. Facts about the other two come from their own sites and listings, checked October 2026; we're not affiliated with either.

How we make money,
and why it matters.
A lot of "is it legit" comes down to one question: who's paying? Here, the lender is. That's why there's no fee to apply, no membership, and no reason for us to push an offer you shouldn't take.
We also don't sell applications to lead brokers, the practice behind most of the spam calls people get after applying somewhere else.
Verify us. Ten minutes.
Don't take a trust page's word for it. These work on us and on anyone else offering you money.
- Look up the lender on NMLS Consumer Access2 min
Every lender in our network is state-licensed. Search the name on your offer at nmlsconsumeraccess.org and confirm the license covers your state.
- Check your state regulator's license search2 min
Each state's banking or consumer-credit regulator lists licensed lenders. Find yours on our states page, then search the lender there too.
- Read the four numbers before you sign1 min
Amount, APR, monthly payment, total repaid. A legitimate offer has all four in writing before any signature. If one is missing, walk away. What they should look like
- Confirm nobody asked you for money first0 min
Application fee, "insurance", "processing", a gift card to release funds: all fraud. Licensed lenders deduct fees from the loan or put them in the APR. Scam alerts
- Check the complaint record5 min
Search the lender and FrontPay in the CFPB complaint database and at the BBB. Read how complaints were answered, not just how many there are.
Found something that doesn't match this page? Email [email protected] with the lender name and we'll look the same day.
Six things we will never do.
If you see any of these under the FrontPay name, it isn't us. Report it and we'll chase it.
