About FrontPay USA
We don't lend money.
We make it legible.
FrontPay USA is a loan-connection service. You tell us what you need; licensed lenders in your state tell you what they'll offer; we make sure every offer shows the same four numbers so you can compare them and walk away if none fits. We're paid by the lender you choose, never by you.
"The product isn't the loan. It's the moment before the loan, when you can still say no."— the sentence this site was built around
What FrontPay is.
What it isn't.
We are
- A loan-connection service. Your request goes to lenders licensed in your state; the one you pick funds and services the loan.
- Paid by lenders. A referral fee when a loan funds, out of the lender's margin. Nothing added to your loan, nothing charged to you.
- A publisher. Every rate, fee and rule on this site is written by us, checked monthly, and dated.
- Opinionated. We tell you when a credit union, a payment plan or a cash advance app is the better call, on the page, before the button.
We are not
- A lender. We make no credit decisions, hold no loans, collect no payments.
- A lead broker. Applications go to lenders who can make an offer, and nowhere else. They are not resold.
- The $100 FrontPay cash advance. That's joinfrontpay.com, a separate company. The three FrontPays
- An app. There's no FrontPay USA app; the one in the App Store belongs to someone else. Details

How the money works,
because that's the question.
Any trust page should start with who pays whom.
Editorial standards.
Eight rules every page on this site follows. If you find a page that breaks one, email [email protected] and we'll fix it and say so.
- Every rate has a source and a date.
APR ranges come from lenders' published schedules and state regulator sites, re-checked monthly. The check date is on the page.
- Every rate has a worked example next to it.
Monthly payment, total repaid, cost of borrowing, computed with standard amortization, never rounded to look better.
- We name the cheaper option.
Credit union PALs, biller payment plans, 211, cash advance apps for small gaps. If one beats us, the page says so before the button.
- No "guaranteed", no "instant", no "no credit check".
Approval isn't guaranteed, funding isn't instant, and a soft check is a credit check. We use the accurate words.
- Facts about other companies come from their own sites.
The $100 cash advance, the App Store app, competitor fees: quoted from their published pages, dated, linked where allowed.
- Reviews are published as written.
Including critical ones. We don't pay for them, pre-screen them or remove them for being negative. Policy
- The lender is named before you sign.
Every offer carries the lender's name and license so you can check it on NMLS yourself. How
- Corrections are visible.
When a number changes or we got one wrong, the page is updated and the change is noted at the bottom, not quietly overwritten.
The lenders we work with.
And the ones we won't.
The network is small on purpose. Every lender signs the same responsible lending pledge before their first offer appears here.
Every lender in the network
- Holds a state lending license where it lends, searchable on NMLS Consumer Access
- Shows amount, APR, payment, total and last due date on every offer, before signature
- Uses a soft inquiry to quote and a hard inquiry only on acceptance
- Charges no prepayment penalty and no fee to apply
- Offers a hardship option and answers complaints within five business days
- Reports installment payments to the credit bureaus
Not in the network, by rule
- Tribal or offshore lenders operating outside state licensing
- Title lenders or anyone taking collateral
- Lenders that roll loans over automatically or stack a second loan on the first
- Anyone requiring a fee, insurance or "membership" before funding
- Lenders that buy leads and call applicants who didn't request an offer
- Anyone with an unanswered pattern in the CFPB complaint database
